no reality for me thanks

That's right we are still at the beach, and having some wonderful weather which means that beach exploring is a must everyday. So our days are filled with lots of sun, sand, water, shells, crab spotting and even glimpses of fish.

But my nights are spent concentrating on creating winter for the Four Seasons Quilt Swap while watching the Australian Open.

Such a contrast has led me to step outside my comfort zone with quilting and try something different. This is just a peek as really I am not ready for the reality of daily life, back to the beach for me.... see you soon.

I am trying to avoid reality as well (that means going back to work).

Looks like you are having a lovely time. I think I've said it before, but your dog is gorgeous.

I'm not ready for reality yet either and unfortunately I head back to work next week. I have so enjoyed these holidays.

I'm actually looking forward to a bit of reality - I'm now quite over the school holidays and am looking forward to getting on with things. I finally started my winter quilt today - that's ok isn't it, I still have nearly a week!!

I had a good laugh at your daughters expectaions of arriving at school on time - I too have the same issure but manage to throwm my daughter from the car on late day just minutes from the bell - to sneak into line without the need for a late note.

I would like to ask a question about postage & swaps - do you post to US and if so do you use Aus POst - I am on my first swap and finding they are rather costly.

Thanks for any help
Sarah
